Like most problems, this one can be solved in 90% of cases by just minding your business and not talking to other people so much. Other important tips:
• Don't live in areas prone to natural disasters. Their chaotic aftermath can easily be taken advantage of by traffickers, who know everyone will just assume you perished somehow in the catastrophe if you are never found.
• Even if your home life sucks, don't run away from it to go hang out with charismatic criminals, because they might just confine you and pimp you out or something.
• Be older than like 25 or so, maybe. Youth seems to be a selling point in human trafficking.
• Don't be attractive. There is probably less of a market for ugly slaves.
• Don't get super drunk late at night in places you're not familiar with.
• If you are an attractive young woman from a poor background, don't go jetting around with weird billionaires, or you might end up getting kidnapped and sacrificed in some strange open-air temple at whatever locale replaced Jeffrey Epstein's rape island after he got caught.
• Try not to live in parts of the world where this sort of thing is kind of normal and in a moral greyzone for poor people to engage in. Such places exist, and you are more likely to be human trafficked if you spend all your time in one of them.
