What do you do for your loved ones on Valentine's Day?
I legit asked my crush to be my Valentine and he said yes, so I'm going to ham this shit up! ^-^

Read every valentine's day card in the rack at the pharmacy and narrow it down to a few cards a few days before. But make sure if there's not enough copies of the finalists to either buy it or decide against.
Go sniff all the scented candles. Buy the one I know she likes and another one that's close to it.
Go check out the cologne and perfume. Buy the guy stuff that smells familiar and start wearing it, and take a sampler of the sweet new one with the notes of citrus and ambergrist I think she never smelled before and check on the price of the 1.7 and 3.4.
Go to the grocer and buy a crate of baby clementines, two filet mignons, a pair if twisted taper candles, five red roses and a foil balloon with a cutesy teddy bear on it.
Fix her car so it can't run so I have to drop her off and pick her up from work that day.
Take off work early and pick up the chianti, take the roses out of the freezer and scatter the petals on the bed. Change the lamps to pink light and unscrew the brights. Turn on the playlist, put the filet and butter and mushrooms in the oven.
Copy the poetry I've had in reserve into the card and put it in between the big bed bowed neck teddy bears paws, or the koku dolls hands and set it on the couch.
Call her and tell her traffic is heavy don't worry if I'm late I'll be there for sure while playing tragic magic in tbe background.
Change shirt, sniff armpits. Do the quick pit stop and power my ass, grab a quick shave, Brush teeth. Slick hair. Gargle.

There ya go. Not a typical V day, just a random mashup of various things I've done that might be able to be adapted for a turnabout application.
