Do you feel obligated to help your fellow human beings?

I want to, but there are so many of them, it just seems pointless. It is like all the dogs they feed into the burners every day. I want to buy them all, but that is impossible too, and what about starving Africans? How can you possibly make even a slight dent in all this.
