These were amazingly prophetic. At the time I read them I was still optimistic that they were only talking about the smaller part of society.

Perfectly describes flakey people that are so common these days.

@Mohonchanda No doubt. It's a requirement to several other mental problems that are also now considered okay to have.

@Mohonchanda Simply put, Narcissists lose their feelings. Martyrs get whipped up into a frenzy.

Yes but the symptoms are there in a person who has feelings too

@Mohonchanda Selfishness is in all of us until we outgrow childhood.

The various degrees of that shouldn't be mistaken. Something as severe as narcissism occurs as a failure to mature past childishness and only amplify our childish selfishness to extreme proportions, I think.

I have a different opinion though
