I sure hope not but I see it more and more.

@robbie2499 selfishness and egocentric is very prominent these days, but not all selfish people are narcissists.

@robbie2499 deep inside they have that "me" even the most selfless act can have it too

@Mohonchanda that doesn't make a person a narcissist. I believe that the MOST selfless acts are definitely selfish to a degree. If it's only to feel better about yourself or to be able to say, yes...that was my good deed for the day.
For instance....I retired several years ago. Now, I'm rarely in a hurry, so if I see someone in a line up behind me who seems to be antsy, I figure maybe they are in a hurry, and I let them go ahead of me. When I do, even though I get nothing for it, except perhaps a smile, it makes me feel good. Does that make me a narcissist? No. Picking up something somebody dropped also makes me feel good about myself. That isn't narcissism. It's simply being happy to be kind.

Yes you are right but that's what I am saying that it is very rare to find people who helps thinking it as a responcebility
Serenitree · F
@Mohonchanda but it isn't a responsibility, unless it's a commitment on your part. And even that isn't selfless. Doing what you are responsible for doing, doesn't make you selfless or even a good person. Different people have different reasons for carrying out their responsibilities, but we all have our motivations, as different as they might be.
Even animals carry out certain responsibilities n their natural habitat. Feeding their young, protecting the pack, etc, that doesn't make them selfless, their motivation is simple, do it and survive. Survival is a motive.

Yes right but people don't agree that and think they are the best and now it has became a natural human reaction(or behaviour)
