in a situation where someone 'portrays' you wrongly to other people

how would you react to a situation like that? so basically someone is spreading a 'lie' about you and portraying you falsely.

how would you deal with that?

At first, I would be hurt, but then I would remember that I know the truth about who I am. If someone is portraying you falsely, their lies will be seen through as long as you keep being true to yourself. Lies are always uncovered as lies.

It's alright. I'm always nice to people and make it my responsibility never to hurt others so it's most likely that whoever that person says it to who knows me, may not believe it. It would be good to know, though, why they feel the need to do that.

Oh that happens quite a bit on social media, from people who don't even know you. Rarely has it happened in real life. Sure, it bothered me in the past. Just remember, that it's their own projections or twisted imagination.
