It’s been awhile since I’ve caught anyone in an obvious lie.
But a few years ago, while I was visiting my parents and washed the clothes I’d brought, my favorite tee shirt disappeared. I asked my youngest sister (who lived there) if she’d seen it. She said she hadn’t, and I returned home.
Our middle sister, who was also visiting, heard me ask, and a few days later she saw Baby sis wearing the shirt. She made her take it off, and on the way back to her house she brought it to me. Baby sis smoked back then and the shirt smelled of cigs. She claimed she’d "zoned out", but it was a dumb lie. 🙄
