how should you deal with the anger at discovering someone thinks things about you which ain't true

just had this last night on youtube in the comments , i'm popular on there and often get lots of thumbs up on videos i leave comments on, however last night, some woman that replied to my comment thought things about me which aren't true, and i felt angered, and thought ' where'd she get that thought from?'

i told her straight out that what she thought wasn't true, but she never responded after i came back with that.

how to deal with that situation?

People are like that on social media.
