The Nicest Compliment

I have some stories from my reunion to tell but the one that meant the most to me was that MANY people came up to me and said "You were always so nice in high school" or you never bullied me.

What a great thing to say to someone. When I heard that I had never bullied her, she followed up with a story that in GRADE school, these girls bullied her and that is why she never came to the reunions. she carried that with her all these years.

My reply to her was :"Just tell me if anyone bullies you and i will take care of them" she smiled and gave me a hug.

That is how I want to be remembered...As nice.
