Not sure if it counts as a compliment, but I was told that I’m an inspiration to troubled minds.

This was from years ago, but I still remember it.

No words were spoken, but I got a standing ovation walking in to run a big sales meeting one day.

The night before I’d just come in 2nd in my first full contact black belt tournament. Apparently the word got out.

It was so unexpected it almost brought tears to my eyes. I was really caught off guard.

My tougest professer said I was very smart and that I'd be a good judge after the class was over and I did quite well.

Coming from her, it meant a lot. That class was tough but rewarding.

When a buddy that was moving away told me that he will always remember me as the most Canadian guy he ever met. Cheers and happy weekend!

There have been a few. But my godson (who turned 20 today, and we chatted for a bit) once when I visited after a long time was on his tablet when I walked in. He put it away when he saw me and hugged me, saying, "it’s always so cool to see you !" From a teenager, one of the best compliments ever. 🥹

That he likes I make surrealist art, but I’m still psychologically stable 🤣

Strangest was my aunt told me I had a nicely shaped head when I was 8. The best was a friend told me I had a quiet intelligence.

A piano teacher once told me, "You're getting better. You're not swearing as much."

A man said to me i could have any man i wanted. He was trying to flatter me as i know it's not true.

I told someone "it's where the crazy people go" another person replied "he goes there regularly".

Made me feel good, even though I'm not on the level of crazy I watch people do well I'm there.
