I was listening on the radio recently about an execution in the United Kingdom which took place many years ago, or didn't take place as the Hangman's ropes snapped three times, the prisoners life was spared, in my opinion Christa Pike's life should be spared, however I'm not a member of the murdered women who was murdered by Christa Pike and her boyfriend.
Please use your vote to provide everyone here on SW the general opinion as to what should happen to this women.
@TexChik Yes she's not dead, however in cases where victims have escaped death by execution they usually escape execution, I'm reading between the lines it looks like Christa will escape execution.
@senghenydd The people who tried to perform the execution should be charged with obstruction and the sentence carried out. Her victims didn't get a second chance.
@saragoodtimes In Britain she would now be walking free instead she could be executed, her boy friend who took part in the murder has escaped the death penalty as he was a year younger it's a strange story, he's serving life.
@senghenydd she lured her victim into the woods, carved a pentagram into her chest then bashed her skull with a rock and took a piece of skull bone with her
On the 26th of September in 1803 the authorities in Australia attempted to hang Joseph Samuels the rope broke three times, crowds watched it was eventually decided to spare his life and he was given a life sentence, he escaped captivity three years later and was believed to have drowned whilst escaping.
@jshm2 Good point there (she has already been executed) I don't think she will now be executed reading between the lines, there would be public out-cry if they executed her not for sure.
@senghenydd would she have survived without hospital, I thought she was on a ventilator. That sounds like the execution was a success but then someone changed their mind.
@TexChik Oh she was only eighteen it was thirty years ago, I find myself defending her, let me say she was guilty I'm not going to stop in the way of executing her but maybe she should be spared.
@meJess Yes there's a case there that the normal course has been corrupted she should of died, it'll be interesting what'll be the outcome of all this, and in future should they be helped by the hospitals.
@saragoodtimes eleven members of SW have voted seven voted to spare her life whilst four have asked for her to be executed, I wondered how the voting would go and to be honest with you I'm not that surprised, I'm too nice for my own good I voted for her life to be spared.
@saragoodtimes Somethings come up I have to close this now it has been interesting, we don't agree anyway I have to close this down now, until the next time.
