SW Courtesy

What ever happened to online courtesy? One can have a conversation going then all the sudden they just stop replying to messages. They will read them but do not respond.
Some will say they are too busy, if that busy why read the messages. If busy, just send a message saying they are busy and will get back to you.
Some go silent if subject matter is not totally to their liking, if so just tell the person that and move on.
SW needs a busy status indicator that can be turned on if don't want to be bothered by others.

Meh, I don't really like all the rules. For starters, I don't owe anyone anything. I consider this a casual environment and most of the people I message understand and relate to not being available all the time.

If this was a normal people social media, yeah, have all your rules, but it's not.

I'm courteous and always reply back to my friends. Sometimes months will go by and I dont hear from them, then they start up chatting like they never disappeared. Im not on here all day long like some members are, so it doesn't bother me at all.

@Blondily What friends? You have exchanged messages with women on this site? I exchanged briefly with one but she tried to make it sexual. I stopped responding when she did that.

I can't begin to imagine what women say to each other in messages. You talk about the ironing? The laundry?

Don't tell me you talk about your men and your sex lives. That is terrible.

Everybody's different and has different motivations for being here and how they like to comport themselves.

I think it would benefit you to have empathy for others and not make it about yourself.

I noticed some people want to follow you and I respond and may get one or two return messages but just hi or thanks , how are you then nothing else. You like you wasted your time saying hi to them!

i still have courtousy,ill tell the person im going,ive blocked a couple of people for that,i could understand if something happened,but you see them replying to other posts
