I don't think it's the case anymore but at one point it'd be my integrity. They'd feel a heavy pressure to uphold their own standards because of it. I've been told this several times.

@HijabaDabbaDoo I’ve been told this a few times. I hold myself to certain standards and morals but I don’t put that on anyone around me but they feel they can’t approach me over certain things in case they disappoint me which I’ve said wouldn’t happen.

@Primnproper Yup, it was the same with me lol but I think it started to shift when I started allowing myself to make mistakes. I put so much pressure on myself and even if I never pushed that on anyone else or expected anything from them, they assumed I'd be disappointed

@HijabaDabbaDoo I know I used to find it upsetting because I felt they should have known better than to think I’d pass judgement on them. My morals and standards are just for me and what I expect of myself not others.
