I look like a bouncer with a shaved head and goatee. I’ve been told I look intimidating until people get to know me. Before I started shaving my head years ago, I never got that kind of feedback regarding my initial impression. I didn’t realize that shaving my scalp would change perceptions as much as it did.

@BamPow That’s quite intriguing..but if you’re a bouncer I’m guessing you must be well built or at least look physically fit.

@Primnproper I’ve been shaving my head since 39. I’m actually sitting in the hospital as I type this awaiting a heart valve transplant, so I’m sure I’m a lot less intimidating than I was years ago and when I was healthy.
