What's the point?
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@OldBrit is the point not yourself?

@Primnproper I've come to an existentialist view of life I suppose so yes that is it but many seem to try to convince me there's more

@OldBrit Is yourself not enough, what could possibly be more than yourself.

@Primnproper religion, god, afterlife etc

@OldBrit No I respectfully disagree, yourself and your own wellbeing and needs should be a priority.

@Primnproper I actually agree with you. I was brought up in a very evangelical fundamentalist church environment. But I never accepted that. I'm more an atheist now and focus on the thing in me that gives me whatever purpose I have. But the indoctrination from 3 to 16 is still in there hence my doubts that there will be a day of judgement and I've missed the point.

@OldBrit I must confess I am not religious. I’m spiritual and respect others beliefs but it’s not for me. I’m the one that gets me through this life, I pick myself up, I protect myself not an invisible ideal.
