I was at a small arthouse cinema. Don’t even remember the name of the movie but at the end I felt quite moved and somewhat teary. Had to remain seated for a few minutes. As I went to get up I locked eyes with a woman coming up the aisle, she was obviously in an emotional state as well. And for a brief moment we grabbed each other’s hand as if to affirm our shared feelings and humanity.
