What Misconceptions Do You Think People Have About You?

I have been told by many of my professional colleagues as well as many of my students, that I am the best there is.
While I admit that some of my teaching methods are what some might consider bizarre or outright crazy, apparently this is the best way my students learn what I teach.
Do I think I'm the best? Not at all. In fact, I try to downplay it as much as possible.

@Primnproper I agree, but you'd be surprised at those, (few as they are,) that totally disagree with the way I do things. So much so, that a couple of them actually tried to get me fired.

@IM5688 well I'm glad they didn't succeed, we more people that teach to be creative with their methods..
