@Bowenw i used to go out and talk to groups about the history and workings of womens refuges when i ran one for 7yrs and its daunting, i found it easier dealing the with police, courts and angry husbands/partners..lol
@Bowenw it was I opened the first one in my hometown after my marriage broke down it’s hard and rewarding. It’s still going today and that’s 27yrs later but I hand over the reigns after the 2nd house opened as I moved across the country.
