Are You A Country Person Or A Townie Person ? And Why?

I’m more a country person as I like the quieter more simpler life and nature and fresh air to breathe.

I was born into a dairy farming family in northern Sweden and our little house on the prairie sat right on the Arctic Circle, a fact I discovered later on in life during a high school geography lesson! Moving to the south at 20 years of age where all the city night life was happening in Stockholm, it is not exactly shorts and T-shirt weather for 10 months of the year because I'm still 500 miles north of the most northerly part of the USA in comparison!

What I like about city life in the south are the social contacts I never had in northern Sweden. What I like about country life to the north is the connection with the earth and the sky that I don't have in these southern latitudes of Sweden. Fortunately, I travel on business a lot and I get to see a cross section of what other people experience from one country to the next. The most unhappy people I have ever met are those who have never experienced anything but city life and clearly could not survive without their high speed internet and cellphone in hand.
