@ArtieKat i must look for those books and do so again. She also had Secret Seven and Famous Five. Nancy Drew and The Secret of Spiggie Holes.

@ArtieKat My father bought me the original E.E.Milne collection and the Tolkien LOTR books, including The Hobbit.
He’d enjoyed reading them as a child.

@bijouxbroussard I was about 14 when I stayed awake until the early hours - on a school night - reading LOTR, utterly captivated!
