Do you think its time for me to ask my crush for a hug or is it possible that she might get uncomfortable?

I have been sharing on here about my crush Akankshya who goes to the same institute as me. I really like her. She is within 21-23 age range and I am 23 and have been crushing on her for over 2 months. We have been having brief conversations in person, complimented her twice in person and even got her phone number a few days ago in a clever way. Now i would really like to ask her for a hug. She is very pretty almost model like and it would be too good to get a nice hug from her. I feel butterflies whenever i talk with her. I will again ask for a hug in a clever way. Actually some exams will start for me so sadly me and her won't be able to meet each other in person as frequently for almost 3 months and again will be able to meet each other as frequently from around August so maybe someday i can ask her for a hug next week saying we wont be able to meet as frequently due to exams and stuffs so lets give each other a hug for now. But do you think she would be comfortable giving a hug to me even though she was comfortable enough while giving her number? Thank god i have her number now so we can still communicate even if we won't be able to meet as frequently.
