is it okay to not want any association with the young generation

i'm in my late 40s and i really don't like the young generation now, the gen z is it? i have nothing in common with them and can't relate to them or how they express themselves at all........instead i'm very close to the boomer generation and people of my mother and fathers generation...i cling to them a lot, because i have so much in common with them and want to be around them instead.

this younger generation is lost and a lot are heretics, i want to stay far away from them as possible, i do not like them.

Of course it's ok, it is your life choice to make.

If you are currently late 40s, that would make you Gen X...so it makes sense that you'd more easily relate to Boomers and Gen Y, who are closer in age to you than Gen Z
I like interacting with all generations
Yeah, it’s okay.

Every generation says this about the next generation

Age has nothing to do with content of character

When someone is a good person then they are a good person - when someone is a bad person then that’s what they are.

Period
