I was thinking that we used to make good use of our sense to smell flowers and others things when we were kids

But as we grow older we start ignoring it, and make use of it only to detect bad things , such as bad odors and fumes to point them out to other... so mostly its useage has become negative , we no longer use it for making good memories ....
Do we do this to all of our other abilities too ? 🤔

I can't relate. A lot of my happiness comes from pleasant scents. Maybe I perceive it even more strongly than when I was a kid. And I'm still discovering new scents that I didn't notice before.

Hmm.. I wonder if it's due to spending so much time in-doors/on-line or on social media, has numbed it somewhat. I think being out in and experiencing nature, sharpens the senses.
Interesting thought.
