I feel slow sometimes or does what im saying make sense???
If A.I is created by humans how can A .I help humans find information on Aliens 💁♀️ especially on other planets Sonce when did Artificial intelligence go to space???
Cause machines are a lot more intelligent than us when it comes to sheer processing power. They can solve even complex equations farrrr faster than a human can even add 2+2. Also humanity with it's various telescopes, space missions, etc... Have gather decades or even centuries worth of information that just keeps piling up. But in science you got to collect as much as you can when you can cause you may only get brief opportunities and or funding. So in order to help sort through all this info computers have been being used for decades. But an AI that is taught to look for complex biomarkers could definitely help soft through all that.
Also AI can be coded with what is called genetic algorithms and machine learning that take advantage of the laws of evolution and these machines can then simulate millions of years of slow evolutionary learning in just a few days to teach itself new ways of doing things it didn't know how to do before. That is actually how some robots were taught to walk on legs and to right themselves even when kicked by a person.
So taking all that in mind the headline is saying we can use AI and simple commands to soft through all that data that is just waiting to be looked at. But if you had millions of computer eyes that can think at the speed of light it definitely helps.
@Renaci Thank you, I'm fascinated by A.I, But I'm gussing the in near future people will stop using their minds. Students are already using it to cheat on assignments.
