Race Blindness in a Sense

Why cant we all just think this way when dealing with others? Like people are people and individuals. Cant we just look at people as individuals and not as like a member of a race? Its not like everyone knows and or is influenced by the whole of their race. Especially in America where its a mix of peoples with different backgrounds. I mean sure we can all have preferences just like favorite colors. That is allowed. Why do people have to hate? They dont.

because race comes with culture very often, it isn't like someone who is born in Africa just grows to become an adult and behaves like your typical American

also very often when cultures mix there are major culture clashes

also every culture has bad aspects to it

this is why it makes quite a lot of sense to assume a certain group of people are going to behave a certain way, because that is the culture associated with where they come from
