Race Blindness in a Sense

Why cant we all just think this way when dealing with others? Like people are people and individuals. Cant we just look at people as individuals and not as like a member of a race? Its not like everyone knows and or is influenced by the whole of their race. Especially in America where its a mix of peoples with different backgrounds. I mean sure we can all have preferences just like favorite colors. That is allowed. Why do people have to hate? They dont.

Sometimes I think it's just an evolutionary thing. Like tribalism is part of our genetics due to natural selection.

@BohemianBoo well, i think people can have natural preferences or preferences guided by experience and some races seem to naturally avoid others in general for procreation it seems. maybe it has something to do with genetics. but i do think prejudice is taught or learned or can be an outcome of bad experience and association. like i noticed latino people and asians dont tend to blend much. maybe its because somewhere in the genes it would be like inbreeding somehow or something or maybe its just cultural differences.
@Penny Racism can also be taught. I think generally speaking, people tend to self-segregate, but actual racial hatred comes from material conditions or from social conditioning.
