If you are over the age of 40 a metal roof makes no sense.
It’s a waste of money unless you have ventilation issues or not enough insulation.

@Quoththeraven It is. Definitely a huge price difference though compared to shingles. My friend has to get a new roof and really wants metal, but sadly can’t afford that price difference.
