I've spent some time in UK homeless shelters

And every. single. person I came across who spouted "I can barely afford the essentials in this economy, greedy billionaires" made sure that they first bought their "essential essentials" - cigarettes, alcohol, cannabis. And of course - had the money for the tattoos and the iPhone.

Every. Single. One. "oh, I can't do that tax funded, government regulated course on the tax funded pc I got from the state with internet access paid for by the tax payer... also why can't I get a job? It's this economy, greedy billionaires"

Yeah, let's go by your BS sample size to get a view on overarching large-scale economic and societal issues.

@GeistInTheMachine I'm also doing a degree that covers large scale economic and societal issues, in particular in respect to drug use and how to make health services more accessible to the less well off. And I develop health education curriculums for medical institutions. Or, is that all "bs", too?

@Therealsteve So a degree in neoliberalism, basically? Yeah, sounds like BS to me, especially with the way you're going about it.

Boggles the mind why you would get a degree in that, with how dimly you view people in that kind of desperate situation.
