And this isn't even close to the worst one ... they give 30% to the actual cause, while some others give less than 10% to the actual cause.

Yeah...if true, that is surely disgraceful. The bright spot here, about most charities, is that they have to publicly disclose the percentage of donations that go to the actual cause, when requested. There are resources to check that out, before donating to one.

@Piper I very much agree, it's great that there are ways to research it... for those that aren't lazy.

But sadly most (including me) are lazy.
