I think it is common knowledge that charities are mostly scams.
I am curious if all of them are owned by the same parent company -
Children's hospitals, save the suffering animals, help feed some 90 year old holocaust survivor, help a vet...
And they ALL ask the same amount - only $19 a month and you get some damned tee shirt.
The lady with the quivering sad voice on those save the animals ads, I wonder how much she got paid to do that pathetic voice?
Things I notice -
Those animals usually look like they are in better shape than my own dog was and his azz was well fed and lived indoors, save for being let out to potty or nice weather days.
That holocaust survivor - If she were living like that for any amount of time, she would not have survived to tell.
These charities and the whole damn world lately gets carried away. I mean EVERYone thinks they are a hustler, can't turn on the TV or even drive your car without someone asking for money.
Sometimes I see these healthy guys in their early 20's sitting in a wheelchair acting like they are handicap, lying azz mother fuggers THEY ISN'T CR*PPLED!" Be trying to look all pitiful...
OH here is a funny one, oh Patti you are going to love this :D ....
When I was a little kid and used to see those "Save some kid in a third world nation" ads on TV, I remember they would talk about how your donation would help... "They will have clean water, a place to sleep, nutritious food, the chance to go to school..."
And I thought (pardon the caps but I have to), YOU MEAN THOSE LITTLE B@STARDS DON'T EVEN HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL?!" 🤣
But no, I am not one to donate.
