Do You Donate To These Charities That Run Ads On TVs In The Evening Showing Suffering Children or Suffering Animals That Need Help?

Cause there is a very detailed article on a website called The Burning Platform about “Big Charity Scams” where that money goes. To executive salaries and huge amounts to employees. These charities are setting on billions of dollars of assets and still begging money off of kind-hearted people who are buying into it. It’s sickening and I already knew they were scams. When they use the word suffering they draw it out to get our sympathy.

Nope.
Did a bit of work with Help the aged - British charity raising money for services to the elderly some years ago.

Quite disgusting how they had teams of random phone callers ringing endless lists of phone numbers and then trying to solicit single one-off donations via their credit cards.

Thay also had 'Inspectors' visiting their charity shops and evaluating the prices on donations being sold in the shops.
'Managers' were being told to increase their pricing or lose their jobs if other stores nearby surpassed their 'fundraising targets'

Ruthless.
And all the big salaries for 'Full-time senior management'......disgusting

@Picklebobble2 There is a charity that alternates between being a charity for disabled Veterans or a charity for fallen police officers. This man with a deep voice calls once a month every month and has for several years. They won’t take my number off of their list either. I got tired of it and asked the man how much of these donations actually went to the Veterans. He stammered and paused and said “well we have to pay for overhead and salaries and the rest goes to the Veterans”. I asked for a number and he said 93% goes to overhead & salaries. I said “So only 7% actually goes to help the Veterans?… SHAME ON YOU !!!” And he apologized and hung up. But he calls every month and it’s a “charity” based in Texas. I live in Oklahoma where people are known to be exceptionally charitable especially the religious people here.
@Picklebobble2 and that's why I've turned my life to the point where I use no credit cards. It's a heck of an inconvenience but in the end I will be glad I did that. And I never answer a phone call if the name of the person calling is not shown. If the person is somebody I know but I don't recognize the phone number... I don't answer. And if they don't have enough brains to leave me a message on my voicemail so I know that it was them... They will never get a hold of me. It sucks but that's the world we live in. I never give my phone number out when they asked me at the cash register. I tell them that's not your business. Remember I'm always paying with cash. I never use those barcode rewards cards. They don't need to track me or my spendings. And it actually cost me more to pay the trash bill to get rid of all the junk mail then I save on those stupid rewards cards. Yep, I get almost no junk mail. Isn't that amazing? This is how we're going to have to fight these tyrants.
