@Gloomy at least they have a job and are employed. Unless the government creates a lot more jobs, they are needed.

@empanadas The government could and should create more jobs and transform the market so that worker co-ops and sustainabillity are favored instead of monopolies and hyper capitalist industries. There can't be infinite growth on a finite earth

@Gloomy the problem with that is now those who run the government aka politicians will become the "billionaires". Sounds good on paper but people are just shitty and flawed. Corruption is bound to happen. I don't think there's anyway to prevent ultra rich individuals. Making them force to give up their wealth will just cause them flee to another part of the world to exploit. The cycle continues
