I have a girlfriend whose great-grandmother's sister was part of the movement. They come from Nigeria and she recounted all the hardships you can imagine. I hope history never repeats itself.

@mazedona I also have family members who were involved in the movement. And I remember a lot of it firsthand, over 50 years ago. Sadly, we are seeing history repeat itself, with those in government trying to repeal laws like the Civil Rights and Voters’ Rights Acts.
