I had always thought of the Ruby Bridges drawing as one of his iconic pieces. But until now, I was completely unaware of his having to change magazines in order to do it. This was a very good piece.

I like his "Kitschy" stuff as well as his later stuff and it show a person can change
@bookerdana I liked his original work, too, but I always got the impression that he posted the others once he was in a position to do so, after learning about it. Everything I’ve read about him suggested his original work was part of his personal experience.
