The people who say ‘it’s just a fictional character, why do you care?’ I respond with ‘if it’s ‘just’ a fictional character, then why does it matter enough to need to change its race. If the race doesn’t matter then it shouldn’t matter enough to need to change it. You shouldn’t ‘care’. Don’t try to fix things that aren’t broken’.
