I Believe Age Doesnt Define Maturity

The most powerful things in life can't be measured (not numerically at least). Maturity is worth a lot and sometimes it's pretty hard to find. But then there's other entities like fear, love, power, addiction. These are the kind of elements that drive people to commit acts that taken out of context, can seem crazy. Fear, all the things I missed out on because in the moment I was too afraid to act. Love, the things I loved, the people I loved didn't always love me back and yet I still gave them my all. Addiction, I've watched many people I care about throw their lives away because they couldn't be released from their vices. Power, it corrupts. At first I believed that compared to all this madness, maturity is meaningless. But maybe maturity is the one thing that can save us from our irrational decisions.
