I have coworkers and teammates as young as 16, I used to talk and laugh with them all the time

Till they learned how old I am and they were like "omg sorry we thought we're the same age, we meant no disrespect"

In HS we had a teacher who we thought was 23 or so. She was likable & popular. We would joke with her as a friend. Then she told us she was over 30. I couldn't wrap my head around it like damn how tf are you twice my age. Suddenly started to see her differently and became respectful. Lol
