Victory for common sense today

I may be late for the celebration but supreme court ruled transgender women are not actual women and therefore can't enter spaces designated only for women. I dunno if they ruled the same decision for transgender men, just hope it covers both.

Common sense? I'm not so sure. As an individual brought up feeling like a bit of a minority - I'm a lesbian - It all feels a little 'the more things change, the more they stay the same'.

I suppose something needs to happen on both sides of the fence for safety for the transgendered and those that feel 'threatened'...

Yet, somehow I keep getting the sense of the same feelings as those about 'racial segregation', as it was in parts of America throughout a lot of the last century.
