How do you expect your spouse to act when you are with groups of people?

ehh, do I need a spouse to answer this question?
I don't know, I guess I'd want him to be himself? Why would I marry someone that I'd be ashamed of when there are other people around?

@Melpomene You're not ashamed of him, but you'd probably have some "rules" of how both of you should behave in public.

@Madeleine Of course, I'd like to keep some things between us but if he doesn't know how to act around people without me or needs rules.. what kind of a grown up is he then? Of course, I might be too young to judge, but I wouldn't want to have a child for a partner that I need to make rules on how we should act, we should both be capable to be independent of each other, and that includes behaving in public.
