I don't think driving or flying should be done by humans

People are too dumb for these activities imo.

Maybe the focus should be more on fixing errors and finding boundary conditions in programming AI to do these tasks.

Humans might be bad at these things but 'AI' is worse

I've tried using these tools to assist me in my field, software development, and they are astonishingly bad plus they have no idea how to indicate that they are uncertain. Like many humans they appear to have an exaggerated opinion of their own competence. They confidently assert things that are obviously untrue.
