When someone asks who your best friend is, do you think of one person or a few?

I have several friends I’m close to, and two I’d say are my best friends (one I met when I was 10, the other I met when we were literal babies!). But there’s just one I go to for everything, and vice versa.

She’s my girl. She came into my life when I was 23, and instantly became someone I could count on. I’m so thankful for her and our friendship. ❤

Her and her sweet little daughter truly mean the world to me.

I automatically think of one single person and not of many since the definition of the word "best" means that there is no one better than that friend, otherwise you would have to pluralize the word "friend".

It is nice to have someone that you can truly count on when you need that person and that you know is going to be available for you when you need her.
