Why society and men are so threatened by women's right and freedom to date and marry freely? ( unless the woman is being irresponsible)

Because marriage is beneficial to men ,it provides them with free domestic and emotional labour (cleaning,cooking, etc.) and then if children are involved there's the caretaking on top of that which is,again, usually assigned to women.

@PepsiColaP I honestly think women benefit from marriage equally to men. You’re guaranteeing a commitment both emotionally and financially. If one decides to end it their assets are split even if one hasn’t worked during the duration of the marriage.

@Procrastablogger they do not,there are plenty of studies that show so and the mere fact that marriage is now a choice and not a prequisite for women yet rates are falling proves that even more so

@PepsiColaP i personally think it's about sex. Women naturally attract more attention sexually than men maybe ?
