Why does society hate femininity in males?

Whether a boy or man is just more sensitive and soft hearted to a gender non conforming boy or man who likes to wear girls and women’s clothes and has feminine interests and mannerisms and may be gay.

To full fledged intersex and transsexual girls and women. What’s the big deal with being effeminate or “ flamboyant”?

Because women who do hate it see it either as competition - they want to be the pretty one, some women can't stand if the man makes a prettier woman than they are - or they find them attractive and since feminine men are usually gay, they are irritated they can't have them. They feel shunned.
And for men who hate it it's because they are secretly attracted to them. They see smooth shaven legs and a skirt and associate it with a woman so it arouses them even if they don't want to admit it. It's automatic reaction. Or there's also a possibility that they also assume they are gay and that they are somehow threatened around them, that maybe they could approach them sexually.
