When People Go Hungry, We All Feel It 🥺

I’m actually not prepared for the chaos that’s about to unleash when they don’t issue hungry people their benefits 🥺😭 I’m praying for every single family that will be impacted by this. No one deserves to go without food — this is heartbreaking. 💔

I'm trying to be sympathetic and not vindictive, but I know that these benifits disproportionately support rural areas and those areas voted for this.

@RosaMarie yeah, when people are hungry, no part of me thinks “you deserve this”. Whether that’s the 39% of snap recipients being children, or the other 61% being adults, voters and non-voters

@itsok I feel like I should add, for clarity, that I'm not rooting for this outcome so dumb people can get what's coming to them. I would much rather we all just be decent humans and feed those less fortunate. But here we are.

@1490wayb I mean… I don’t have a pet, but if I did, my pet would definitely eat before I do 😂 Same with my kid — they’ll always eat before me and my husband. Thankfully I’m not in a position where I need benefits, but I’m truly praying for everyone who is right now. And as for the smokes, alcohol, and tattoos… yeah, people really shouldn’t be putting those above food. That’s just ridiculous.

@WasEP my daughter has a disability and she doesn't take drugs,drink,smoke, nor have any tattoos.
I think both sides could come to a solution,but hate is the poltical flavour of the day.
