Why women clothes typically don't get pockets? Or get ridiculously small and unusable ones?

Yep, that and creating a smooth line. I purposely look for clothes with real pockets but, then again, I'm no fashionista

I asked my coworker why she just doesn't wear normal pants if she wants pockets

Me who stuffs everything in those small pockets just so I wouldn't have to carry a purse

I think like NVP, this is a design requirement put there by guys, who don't want women to have pockets full of crap to interfere with the beauty of their "lines"...

Why is it that women's clothing often has button sense reversed from men's?

Originally it was so that women couldn't carry a wallet or passport and therefore couldn't go anywhere without their husband.

To sell them a purse.

It's mostly to better show off one's shape.

Slim lines are definitely the way the clothes are supposed to fit.

People need to be more discerning in the things they buy

They are poor and have nothing to put in them

So we can see their butts better when they walk by
