Why is it so controversial knowadays to say that men and women on average are different?

It is seen as sexist or bigoted to say even though science backs it up studying the structure of brains. And even with medical abuse torture experiments like John money when a mutilated boy was raised a girl and was miserable. I don’t believe people are born blank slates. Sure socialization from a young age does occur and society still places stupid gender roles on individuals but part of gender is innate I believe. I Believe men and women are different but gave equal worth. And women are just as smart as men are. But also physicality wise men tend to be stronger than women due to more testosterone. And if men and women weren’t different how would we have gender identity? Male and female gender identity are neurological and hormonal. Or even other ones like non-binary may be related to hormonal factors. .

Male and female are just terms constructed by society - just like currency.

We are ALL different... a bodybuilder is different to the average man just like the average man is different to a man who has different hormone levels. The same is true for women, too.

If they are using hormone levels to determine gender, then is a person who was born with a vagina still a woman if she reaches adulthood and has a higher level of masculine hormones naturally present in her body??? Is a person born with a penis still a biological male if he has a higher level of female hormones in his body??? Both identify as the gender they were given at birth and neither have ever taken gender confirming medications.

@HootyTheNightOwl why either one has to take gender confirming medications ? Is it due to hormonal imbalance/ anomaly or deficiency in either one at birth?

@Fieldmaster Well, most commonly, it might be used by transpeople to confirm their new gender, but, the person with a vagina would typically be prescribed hormonal birth control pills to correct their hormonal imbalance and treat any unwanted side effects from their imbalance.

Is the deficiency present from birth??? No, you don't start producing these hormones until puberty, otherwise boys would be shaving before kindergarten... however, it is a fluctuation in "natural" hormone levels since we all have different levels.

If you really want to get technical, virtually every woman you've ever met has screwed with her hormones at some point in her life and you backed it in the name of "pregnancy prevention".
