People are too busy nowadays

People are so busy nowadays you literally have three seconds or less to message someone about something. It's even a bother if you ask how they're doing because that takes too much time. People's attention is just splintered and it's a shame. Relationships should be better maintained.

I agree people are too busy these days, but maybe they’ve always been busy and we only know of it in this day and time because we’re observant adults right now.

I don’t know.

But what I do know is people make the time for the relationships that matter the most to them, which can be very 🥰 when you’re on the receiving end of that, but also very heartbreaking when it’s revealed how low on the totem pole you are.
