Everything Jimmy Kimmel said about the shooter's politics was completely false. It was the affiliates' and ABC's right not to continue paying for such stuff. There's no right to keep your job when few want to buy it. The problem is that the government put its thimb on the scale, a path of government influence and control over content followed by Obama, Biden and others. The government should not be controlling content as it did shamelessly in the days of Covid and Fauci. It should not be telling people (who are not public officials) what to say and what not to. The FCC sadly was always into this kind of jawboning under all kinds of administration. The FCC once had a function to do with radio bandwidths or something. Now it exists for the purpose of managing content to reflect the wishes of those in government. The government's supervision and manipulation of Twitter to exclude those who questioned the official line (but who turned out to be right. The Twitter Files exposed all this bureaucratic corruption.

There is a simple solution at least to the FCC's role is restricting free speech. Abolish the FCC!
