Do you decide your beliefs, or do they decide you?

Positive beliefs are based on how you happen to the world in ways you choose.

Negative beliefs are based how the world happens to you in ways you don’t choose.

It’s the classic argument of… Seeing is believing vs. Believing is seeing.

Cool question.

My beliefs are comprised from life experiences, and I believe some are inherently woven into my DNA.

There was a Time I declared I was an Atheist, when in all actuality I was lying. I didn't realize it for over 20 years.

I do not need to see to believe anymore.

@Iwillwait believing without seeing is the definition of faith, huh, brother?
Iwillwait · M
@BuzzedLightyear Yes.

I had to see to believe. . .so... GOD gave me just that.

@Iwillwait Faith is the evidence of things not seen

@Iwillwait What do you think helped you understand how to believe in order to see?
Iwillwait · M
@Reject I was brought to rock bottom with no way out.
I found myself on my knees pleading for help. I asked the Lord, and received.

@Iwillwait Thank you for this. It’s kind of amazing. I think oftentimes when we’re left with nothing to see, our only recourse is to believe. To make our own sight and that guides us through a life that didn’t have anything to believe in. I think that is the lords strength.
