What's something about the US that is totally normal to a US citizen, that Europeans can't seem to wrap their heads around?

@Lilymoon Since you're Canadian, your answer reminds me of a Red Green episode. During the Word Game, one of the clues Red uses is "Americans laugh at Canadians when we say this." He was referring to pronunciation, of course. I don't remember what the real answer was, but the contestant guessed, " Can you please check your handguns at the border?"
